This is an ongoing project. My clients are young and use the property largely for retreats. They also have very clear ideas of what they want. My roll has been to update and handle repairs to the inside of the house, shop and make suggestions for bathroom, ceiling fans and lighting fixtures, tile, replaced flooring, designed and had furniture made along with pillows and mattress, find the craftsmen and workmen necessary to execute the scope of each project while staying within a general budget, gather multiple estimates and manage the projects, receive and place all furnishings, replace external water storage tanks, add water enhancement system and internal water filtering and softening systems, act as liaison between the client, property wrangler and all workmen.

Below are some before and after pics. The original property was remodeled in 1984 and we have brought it up to a rustic 2015 look.
We replaced all the existing brass bathroom fixtures with Tuscan bronze fixtures. Because this is a second home, my clients did not want to spend the money to completely remodel the bathrooms at this time, though they wanted to update all the fixtures without breaking through walls and tile to replace valves. So, we had all the fixtures we could not replace electroplated to match the new fixtures, including toilet valves, flush buttons, tub handles and drains.
The existing off has been turned into a healing room. I had two pieces of furniture made to fit the space and need of the healing practitioner
The existing workout area has been turned into a multi person sleeping area. The client specified that they wanted a funky tent feel, using the colors of Tibetan prayer flags. I turned the existing alcove into a closet/ storage area. As the ceilings are quite low and there are no windows I had a screen door installed on the the access door so it could be left open, allowing air to circulate and keeping out bugs and critters.
